El Estado y la libertad religiosa en el ordenamiento constitucional chileno / State and religious freedom in the Chilean constitutional legal system

⟶ Resumen En este artículo se estudian las relaciones entre el Estado y la Iglesia católica a lo largo de la historia constitucional chilena. En Chile, si bien en los últimos tiempos la secularización se ha hecho muy presente en la vida social, todavía quedan importantes resabios de la vinculación religiosa, especialmente católica, con los asuntos del Estado. Se analiza la libertad de conciencia y religiosa a la luz de las cartas constitucionales, incorporando las dos últimas propuestas de Constitución de Chile de los años 2021 y 2023. ⟶ Palabras clave Libertad religiosa    Laicidad    Libertad de conciencia    Estado e iglesia católica en chile    Proceso constitucional    Secularización    ⟶ Abstract This article studies the relations between the State and the Catholic Church throughout Chilean constitutional history. In Chile, although secularization has become very present in social life in recent times, there are still important vestiges of the religious link (above all Catholic) with the affairs of the State.
